Columbia SWCD is made up of a dedicated team with a shared commitment to protecting and enhancing the natural resources of Columbia County. Our staff brings a diverse range of knowledge, skills, and experience in habitat restoration, sustainable agriculture, invasive species management, and natural resource conservation to support programs and projects throughout the county.

Our work often takes us beyond the office and into the communities we serve. Whether meeting with landowners, visiting project sites, participating in local events, or collaborating with conservation partners, we strive to build meaningful relationships and provide practical, locally focused assistance. These connections help us better understand the needs of our community and support conservation efforts that make a lasting difference.

Our office, located at 35285 Millard Road in St. Helens, is shared with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). This partnership provides opportunities to share knowledge, coordinate resources, and connect landowners, agricultural producers, forest owners, Tribes, and conservation partners with programs that support voluntary conservation and responsible land stewardship throughout Columbia County.
