Do you have skills you’d like to use to support conservation in Columbia County?
Are you interested in getting involved in your community and learning more about our diverse habitats and how to maintain their health?

Join us in protecting the natural resources that make Columbia County thrive!

Associate Directors are dedicated volunteers who serve as non-voting members of the Board, offering valuable insight and acting as advisors and community representatives.

We welcome individuals with diverse experiences and a passion for conservation. As an Associate Director, you’ll have opportunities to help educate the public, support conservation projects, and contribute input at board meetings.

Appointed by the Board of Directors, Associate Directors are registered voters in Columbia County who bring skills that strengthen community partnerships and collaboration. If you have experience in community engagement, education, outreach, or natural resource conservation, we invite you to volunteer with the Columbia Soil and Water Conservation District.

Join us in expanding our education programs in schools and throughout the community, and take part in hands-on opportunities to make a difference in the field.
