Notice of Election for District Directors of the Columbia Soil and Water Conservation District

 

Notice is hereby given that on November 3, 2026, an election will be held for the purpose of electing board director(s) to the following positions for the Columbia Soil and Water Conservation District:

Positions:  Zone 1, 4 years; Zone 2, 2 years; Zone 3, 4 years;  At Large 2, 4 years

Zone boundaries, eligibility requirements, and copies of the required election forms may be obtained at the SWCD Office located at 35285 Millard Road, St. Helens, OR 97051, phone number: 503.433.3205

Each candidate must file a “Declaration of Candidacy” and a “Petition for Nomination Signature Sheet” with the Oregon Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Program Area, Grants Administrative Officer. The filing deadline is 5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2026.The last day to file for an elected incumbent district candidate seeking re-election to the same office is 5:00 p.m. August 18, 2026.
