Join experts from Oregon State University’s Food Innovation Center for an in-depth Product Development Workshop designed for farmers, food producers, and entrepreneurs interested in developing or scaling food and beverage products.

This immersive workshop will explore the key steps involved in bringing a food product to market, including recipe development, food safety, scaling production, and labeling requirements. Whether you are currently selling a product or considering selling at farmers' markets or retail outlets, this workshop will provide valuable guidance and practical tools.

Workshop topics include:

  • Converting your recipe into a scalable formula
  • Scaling up production of your product
  • Important food safety considerations
  • Writing a process flow chart
  • Understanding product shelf life
  • Nutrition labeling requirements
