Work Party at the Japanese Garden – St. Helens

Join the St. Helens Parks and Trails Commission for a community Work Party as they continue to restore the beautiful Japanese Garden area in McCormick Park! This space has been overgrown for years, and your help will make a big impact in preparing it for future replanting with flowering cherry trees, native plants, bushes, and trees.

We’ll be clearing out invasive species like ivy, blackberries, and poison oak—so come prepared!

🧤 What to Bring:

• Gloves
• Clippers, hoe, or other yard tools
• Wear long sleeves and pants to keep arms and legs protected
