The Columbia SWCD Board of Directors is made up of citizens and landowners of Columbia County. The county is broken up into 5 “zones” of which there are representatives of each. There is a requirement that the director must own at least 10 acres of land to qualify. In addition, the Board has 2 “at large” positions. These can come from anywhere in the county and there is NO land requirement. Directors serve four year terms and are elected just like any other government official. |
