Deer Island Wetland Restoration In partnership with the Lower Columbia River Watershed Council and NRCS, the SWCD is working on the vegetation restoration on this 260 acre piece. |

Clatskanie River Cooperative Resource Management Plan Partnering with multiple landowners, the city of Clatskanie, the PUD, 2 federal agencies, 2 state agencies and the LCR watershed council; the Clatskanie River CRMP will address stream bank erosion and sediment issues along 8 miles of the river. |

Rainier Conservation Plan We are currently working with a landowner in Rainier to build a conservation plan. This will be their personal plan; designed and implemented by THEM! We are only there to offer technical assistance and to do all the leg work of writing and compiling the plan. |

Backyard Conservation Columbia SWCD assistance applies far from any farm, ranch, or stream. We are currently putting together an education program to help those who live in cities and on small properties who still have a desire to conserve our Natural Resources. We all need to play a part in conservation and protecting of our natural resources...and it starts right in your OWN BACKYARD! |
