The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) will host an open house in the Scappoose High School gymnasium to discuss the North and South Scappoose Creek Strategic Implementation Areas (SIA).
When: Wednesday, May 1, 2024 6:00 PM-8:00 PM (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada). Where: Scappoose High School (33700 High School Way, Scappoose, OR, United States)
The Open House is a great opportunity to meet in person and learn about the SIA initiative. Landowners with properties inside the SIA can learn about what funding opportunities might be available to help protect our waterways!
Water quality projects may include:
· Cover Cropping · Livestock Exclusion Fencing · Livestock Stream Crossings · Livestock Off-Channel Water · Erosion Control · Riparian Area Restoration · Invasive Weed Removal · Manure Storage
